At times, unutterable levels of rage, shame, and terror memories between victim family members and perpetrator family members are emerging.
Christian Divorce Transition: Counseling
By using the Enneagram and other personality style inventories, all family members involved in the Divorce Transition that were formerly unnoticed and blocking cooperation and discernment are made manifest. Thus, the formally combative parental couple can discern how to separate negative dynamics to a partner and focus on the needs of the gift they have both been given …their children.
Christian Divorce Transition: Mediation
Saint Paul’s directive “taking conflict to the church brethren”, thereby avoiding the civil or Roman courts of his time, rendering to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s is the focus of these staff members. They follow the simple rule of “not giving scandal to the children” in creating wise and fair economic and parental joint custodial plans. Mediators with ethical principles are recommended, depending upon the degree of complexity in the emerging divorce action. This practice is limited to couples with young children.
